Since Angry Birds is such an addictive, fun, and challenging game I thought I would start a site with information that I have collected with “how to’s”, tips and cheats information to help the addictees as well as newbies master the game.
In the following days I will be posting more about the funny little birds that attack egg-stealing pigs via a slingshot so stay tuned

These cute birds are available everywhere! They are also making their ways to many other mobile devices, some launched and some yet to be launched. Now you don’t just have to have the traditional iPhone or iPod to play the game. You can still enjoy the angry bird experience from any phone with Angry Bird Mobile! The graphics on other mobile devices are as great as the iPhone!
iPhone: This is the traditional one. The game was first originally released only for the iPhone and available on other apple devices like iPod touch or iPad. Now it is available for many more devices. It is available on the current version of the iPhone, 4.3 and you can also play it on the newest version 5.0. I phone 5.0 has not yet been released but soon enough it will!
Angry Birds for Nokia Symbian: They are also on Nokia phones. They still have the same gaming interface, but the only thing is that you must have a big screen to fully enjoy the true aspects of the game. It is still a work in progress, so it may not be perfect yet on all Nokia phones. It will keep improving though.
Windows Phone: This one is yet to release. There has been rumors about it releasing sooner, but it just hasn’t yet. The official date in June 29th, 2011 and it will release then. It will be cool to see how much angry birds are able to do on the windows phone, but considering how well they have done on android, I know this will also be another success. Hold tight, It will be here soon!
Angry Birds for Android: The stats for this are phenomenal. There have been more than 3 million downloads in one week when this first launched (and I was also one of them). I was overjoyed when I learned I could continue my passion from my smartphone! The interface on the android is also very impressive, but not as good as the iPhone. The touch and the rendering speed is still a little slow, but I am sure that android will fix that to maximize their results. However, I love playing on the android.
Angry Birds for Samsung Phones: Currently, this is only available on the smart phones for Samsung, which probably run on android. You have to be able to connect to the store to download it. Some phones have to be patient and just wait until an option for playing this highly addictive game is available. You can try it out on your phone to see if it works!
Tablets: It was not originally set for nook or kindle, but some smart hackers have been able to get their game on the nook. However, this requires some extreme knowledge. Also the nook has a dimmer screen than mobile phones so the overall aurora is different and I’m not sure how the touch works on the nook either. But hopefully soon there is an option available for nooks and kindles like it is on ipads. That would be great.
There are so many Angry Bird mobile options available and most of them are certainly worth a try. And I know rovio will continue to expand so your gaming experience will be better each time.

A lot of you have heard about a game called Angry Birds. This article is an explanation of the game, the concept and the phenomenon behind it. Rovio Mobile is this application company in Finland. After a discussion about Bird Flu and Swine Flu, the company developed this story about pigs stealing eggs from birds and how it causes chaos between the two.
Angry Birds is definitely Scandinavian. The bird is a beloved creature there and this game taps into that mindset. The game centers around a handful of different characters. The object of the game is for you to send birds off in a slingshot to knock off pigs from a variety of structures. In other versions of the game, there are also macaw birds and marmosets.
THE HEROES
The RED BIRD is your main character. There’s nothing fancy about this bird. When you fling the cardinal, it will typically break glass or one wood beam. It doesn’t work at all against stone planks or blocks, so avoid those at all costs. The BLUE BIRD works predominantly against glass. Once you launch these birds, you can tap your screen again and this bird will split into three smaller blue birds. Your best bet is to focus on glass blocks or possibly a wood plank that you can have all three birds target. By doing that, the impact sometimes will topple that wood plank and create an opening.
The WHITE BIRD has a few good uses. It’s a bigger shaped bird that will drop an egg on a target if you tap the screen. If you choose not to drop the egg, it will barrel into most structures for bonus damage. The BLACK BIRD is also referred to as the “bomber bird”. Probably the most destructive of all birds, this bird will plow through all structures. The bonus is that you can detonate it and cause even more explosions for collateral damage.
The CUCKOO BIRD is two conjoined birds that fly in an erratic way. They take out more blocks than a normal bird, but other than that, they don’t serve much use. The GREEN BIRD is considered the “boomerang” bird and can be shot forward or in reverse, which is nice.
THE VILLAINS
The GREEN PIGS are just your normal adversary that take one hit to knock off their perch. The JUMBO PIG takes 3 hits. You can tell where you are at, in terms of knocking them out, based on the number of black eyes. Each hit constitutes a black eye and a step closer to knockout. The ARMY PIG has a hard hat on and is more difficult to eradicate. There are also MARMOSETS, also known as monkeys, and large white MACAWS, which require multiple hits to knock out.
The addicting element to this game is that you have to achieve three golden stars for each stage. You can advance with one star, but three stars is what everyone is after. There are loads of secret levels and aspects of the game that keep you enthralled and entertained. Each type of bird and pig has their own quirks and mannerisms that make the game fun for all. The materials used in the creation of each structure all have a significance because not all birds can topple that particular material. I’ll write another article regarding what Rovio Mobile is doing to further its brand and engage its customers and fans. The success of this franchise is remarkable and an interesting study.
